Wonderful photos. Dagmar’s nightly forecast will be at the top of the extremely short list of things I miss from Atlanta when I move back home, and a very good reason for buying a high-def TV. Perhaps she’ll get tired of the same “95 degrees and 3,000 percent humidity” every day from here and decide to move back to Canada where there’s real weather to report. A guy can always hope…

Your no-makeup photos at the top are very nice. Sometimes that doesn’t turn out well for some people, but in your case they are very refreshing and ‘honest’. And still lovely.

By the last picture it looks like yu may have had time to visit “Old San Juan”. I love that part of town with it’s narrow streets and old buildings. I am glad you had a wonderful time. Everybody deserves time off for a vacation just to get out of the rut and relax. I never did the zipline. I went to fort San Christabal and could not believe how thick the walls are.

Are you participating in the Atlanta Humane Sociaty dog walk next month? The company I work for always has the biggest turnout. Come on down. I will be there with my daughters dog (Abby) whose picture is on my facebook page. The dogs really enjoy it.

for sure.

but you know what else? i started buying those sandwich thins and thought they were great. after a few weeks, i decided to look at the ingredients list. they have sucralose (splenda) in them.

since when is it ok to put artificial sweeteners in our food and not label it on the front?

i threw them out. and i’m still annoyed!

It is absolutely deceipt when you consider the number of folks who rely so heavily on grocery stores to stock their shelves with foods that are safe for their own and their families consumption,without ever reading the results of a food study or who think the store they frequent would never sell anything so toxic.In reality grocery stores are a business…the goal is to make money.They want to avoid lawsuits and the loss of business,but they will sell most anything.
If it’s not natural I don’t want it!To me there’s nothing at all about “genetically modified or engineered” that even sounds remotely close to being appetizing or even belonging in a phrase preceeding the word food.We have to stop this deception and not let ignorance and greed decide our fate.Who wouldn’t rather enjoy life,have fun and actually LIVE!?Hard to do when your sick.

I think it’s commendable to have a passion about healthy living, Dagmar. But, I think living life in moderation is the best way to go. Otherwise, you’re missing out on half the fun of what other’s are doing. There’s nothing like a good cheeseburger at a summer picnic.

To Randy:First – We all have a right to our opinions and passions,but living life in moderation means leaning from one side to the next instead of making a solid decission and being absolutely certain of what you stand for.Second – What is fun or good about slaughtering a cow just so you can pack a cheeseburger in a picnic basket then eat it surrounded by nature and in front of countless other animals? Seems like quite an example of an oxymoron…with an emphasis on the moronic aspect!Enjoy your life style being swayed by whatever wind blows you,I’ll stick with my passions and avoid all that “good fun” the other half are having.
