Dagmar Midcap anchors the weather weeknights at 4, 6, and 11p.m.

Thank you.

As some of you may know the past year has been the most difficult of my life. It’s been a very dark time for me personally, and as such I have come to the decision that I need to leave this amazing city. I need to move away from Atlanta as soon as possible,...

What about Marty?!?!

Marty was one of the featured dogs up for adoption at Barkfest this year. I got the chance to walk him around, introduce him to everyone, and he even got on stage with me at one point. Marty is a well-mannered, loving, sweet dog that is looking for a new family to love him. He...

Gulf = “self”

I am saddened by the Gulf shore visitors and, in general, their response to the growing crisis.  I actually saw a shot of a beach-goer who was in tears because his “vacation was ruined” as he watched the beginnings of the spill wash ashore.  This was promptly followed by parents venting  about having to change their family...

Mmmmmmmm…more fun with chocolate:)

I LOVE this recipe for raw (and surprisingly enough) dairy free chocolate pudding!  Soooooooooooo good, but it does require a little bit of time and patience not just to find the ingredients but to whip up a batch.  Trust me, it’s well worth the effort.

Your teeth – your health?

Something to think about…
Animals in southern Iceland are at risk of fluoride poisoning if they inhale or ingest the ash from the recent volcanic eruption. Fluoride poisoning can lead to internal bleeding, long-term bone damage and tooth loss.
According to BBC News:
“The fluoride in the ash creates acid in the animals’ stomachs, corroding the intestines...

One of the most important elements of my life…

This is a post from Dr. Mercola’s website. It’s a long read but trust me – THIS IS WORTH READING ALL THE WAY TO THE END
The next time someone offers you a bottle of water, take a stand and say something clever like, “No thank you, I don’t believe in it.” This...
